ALL MEMBERS
At the World Angus Secretariat Meeting in Argentina in 2011, the need for South African bred genetics was re-emphasized. Our uniqueness is expressed in local bloodlines which offer amongst others, tick resistance, adaptability to Karoo conditions and early hair shedding. Council requires your assistance:
- Five bulls, bred under South African conditions (and even SA bloodlines) for three generations, are required.
- Mr Roy Dixon’s company, Xseed, will handle the program in co-operation with the Society.
- 500 to 800 doses of the approved bulls are required.
- Bulls that breed well in the program can return to the program as proven bulls.
- Should you have bulls available that meet these requirements, please forward the details to the Society.
- Bulls offered will be screened by the Society’s Senior Judges.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Die uwe | Yours faithfully
